Pop Rush — Privacy Policy

Effective date: 7 August 2026 · App: Pop Rush (com.rlinteractive.poprush) · Contact: rlstudio.dev@gmail.com

Summary

The core game requires no sign-in, and the game data you create (scores, progress, settings) stays on your device. The app shows ads served by Google AdMob; to serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners process a device advertising identifier and ad-interaction data. We also use Google Analytics for Firebase for gameplay statistics — it is off until you turn it on in Settings (see Analytics below). Optional Online Features (leaderboards and Squads) are off by default; turning them on signs you in with Google Play Games — nothing networks until you explicitly enable them in-app.

What the app stores on your device

This on-device data is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

What we do not do

Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played — which modes people choose, how long a run lasts, and where the campaign gets too hard. It is the only analytics SDK in the app.

It is off until you turn it on. The app ships with Firebase analytics collection disabled in every country, and nothing is sent unless you switch on Settings ▸ Privacy ▸ Help improve Pop Rush. Turning it off again stops collection immediately and it stays off.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Pop Rush is ad-supported. Ads are served by Google AdMob:

Online features & Squads (optional, off by default)

Pop Rush includes optional Online Features: global leaderboards and private Squads (small invite-code groups with their own weekly and all-time leaderboards). They are disabled by default and make no network connections until you explicitly turn them on via the in-app consent dialog. Turning them on is optional and reversible — turning Online Features off stops further syncing.

When you enable Online Features, you sign in with Google Play Games Services (a Google service) and the game connects to our backend (PlayFab, a Microsoft game-services platform). The following syncs to game servers — matching the in-app "What's shared" screen:

PlayFab processes this data on our behalf; see the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Pop Rush never shares your data without your action.

Deleting your data

Your scores, progress, settings, and the local analytics file are stored on your device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in Android Settings ▸ Apps ▸ Pop Rush ▸ Storage, removes them from the device. Note that Android's own backup feature may keep a copy of app data in your Google account and restore it when you reinstall; that copy is controlled by Android, not by us, and you can manage it in your device's backup settings.

If you turned on Online Features, an online profile is stored on our backend (PlayFab): a random app-generated identifier, the link to your Google Play Games account, your display name, and your best scores.

Your Pop Rush player ID

Your Pop Rush player ID is the identifier our backend uses for your online profile. It is not the same as your Google Play Games player ID, and the two are not interchangeable — only the Pop Rush one lets us find your profile directly.

From inside the app: open Settings ▸ DELETE ACCOUNT. It shows exactly what deletion covers. If this device currently has your Pop Rush player ID, continuing copies it to the clipboard and brings you to this page — paste it into your email. If this device does not have it, continuing still brings you here, and you can send the request with the details you do have.

A device may not have the ID: you cleared the app's data, reinstalled, switched phones, or the app never finished signing in. That does not mean you have no account with us, and it does not stop you requesting deletion.

To request deletion, email rlstudio.dev@gmail.com. Include your Pop Rush player ID if you have it. If you do not, send your Google Play Games display name and any other details your Online profile showed — we will work from those. You can request deletion at any time, including if you no longer have the app installed or cannot open it. Nothing else is required of you.

A display name on its own is not proof that an account is yours. Display names are visible to other players on leaderboards, so we cannot accept one as identification. We may ask you for further details that only the account holder would have, and we will decline any request we cannot reasonably verify.

Optional, only if you can: if you are currently a member of a Squad, leaving the Squad before requesting deletion may help remove your squad membership immediately. If you cannot do so, simply mention it in your deletion request. Turning Online Features off in Settings stops further syncing, but it is not required and does not delete anything on its own.

For a verified request we delete, within 30 days, your online profile, its Google Play Games link, your display name, and your best scores — which also removes you from the leaderboards. Squad membership is removed when you leave the Squad; if you were unable to leave, tell us in your request and we will look at it as part of handling that request.

There are no purchases and no payment data to delete.

Children

Pop Rush is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and the version published with the app.
